Mehendi Competiton

The Artistas Club provided a virtual stage for the students of DWIT to showcase their piping skills through an online Mehendi Competition.

Mehendi combines the understanding of medicinal plants with many deeply held attitudes and beliefs, reflecting the rich culture of Nepal. The primary concept of Vedic customs is "awakening the inner lights." The goal of this competition was to find and foster these traditional values. The participants were required to make their submissions to the club through email. They took part passionately and proudly showcased their creations using a variety of Mehendi designs traversing various themes and ideas.
