Canvas outdoors
The Artistas Club conducted Canvas Outdoors, a collaborative event with the Hiking Club. The event was a massive success and the club members, as well as participants, made a lot of fun memories.
The chosen destination was Marble Dada for a short hike with a sweet view. When the hikers reached the top, they took a short break before separating into four teams of four members. Each team was given a canvas, paint brushes, and a palette to mix paint.
The timer was set to 10 minutes and the first member of each team began painting on the canvas. In this way, all the group members took turns contributing to the group painting, and the competition ended in two rounds. As the team members carefully planned their paintings, it didn't take long for the atmosphere to be filled with enthusiasm, and intense competition. We were glad to see how focused each team was as one member guided the other as they collaboratively strategized on how to make the best painting.
We saw a variety of ideas and techniques being used. Some teams painted the scenery in front of them or one that they imagined while some others used creative ways to make a beautiful abstract. At the end, all the teams presented really impressive paintings. Considering that most of the hikers were not habitual painters, the results really showed how much hard work the teams had put in.
