Guess the password

The Artistas club successfully conducted a Guess the Password Game session. There were six teams in total and they were:

·        Hello world

·        ONLY FRANDS

·        Maya Basla Nahera Tesari

·        nishant450

·        P@ssw0rD@123

·        Ramdaju

Each team consisted of two members. In each round, one member was given the password while the other was required to guess the password based on one-word clues given by the former. The password was also shown to the audience. The teams earned one point with each correctly guessed password. The clues could not be any translation of the password or contain any part of the password.

The game was initially divided into two rounds- an elimination round and a grand finale. In the elimination round, the six teams competed with each other, two at a time, in three sub-rounds. The round ended with three eliminated teams and three teams who’d move on to the next round. At this point, one of the losing teams, ONLY FRANDS, showed a strong desire to play again. The club president and vice president then decided to add a wild card round.

In the wild-card round, the three winning teams of the first round tried to guess three passwords. At the end of this round, the team with the least points was eliminated in place of whom team ONLY FRANDS returned with a wild card entry.

The game then moved on to the grand finale where the three teams nishant450, P@ssw0rD@123, and ONLY FRANDS competed for the winner’s title. The atmosphere filled with anticipation as the team members carefully thought of clues and attempted to guess. Finally, after numerous re-rounds due to invalid clues, team ONLY FRANDS with members Bipashree Aryal and Jenish Shrestha from BCA 2024, emerged victorious with team nishant450 with members Nishant Khadka and Sakar Shrestha from CSIT 2024 securing second place.

Both the participants as well as the club members thoroughly enjoyed the game. We would like to thank all the participants once again for showing so much enthusiasm and energy. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Some glimpses of the event are attached below:
