Halloween Night

On October 30th, The Artistas Club, in collaboration with all the DWIT clubs, successfully organized Halloween Night for the very first time in Deerwalk. The event was full of games, entertainment, music and dance.

The program started around 4:30 pm with a ramp walk. The participants strutted down the red carpet flaunting their incredible costumes and makeup. The atmosphere quickly filled with cheers and applause as they presented their looks confidently and uniquely. The DWIT Club presidents then judged the participants and awarded the winners with exciting prizes. Kushal Shakya from Batch of 2024 won the Best Fictional Character presented by the Literature Club, Ashish Sapkota from Batch of 2025 won the Best Makeup presented by The Artistas Club whereas a group from the Batch 2023 dressed as FRIENDS Characters were collectively awarded the title of Best Costume by all the club presidents.

At 5:30 pm, the various game stalls set up by the clubs were actively inviting participation and participants seemed to enjoy the challenges, prizes and dares. Others engaged in lively dance and photoshoots. Dinner was served at 6 pm, followed by a treasure hunt and more fun activities. A group from the batch of 2024 CSIT was quick to solve the clues of the hunt and bag their treasure. We then set a bonfire near the parking area of DWIT around 8 pm. Some were singing with their guitars, while others were conversing and enjoying around the fire. It was a calm closing, perfect for an exciting night.

We extend our thanks to all the attendees who supported the event and gave extremely positive feedback throughout. We would also like to thank all the active clubs who helped to decorate and plan everything for the event.
